San Francisco, CA — Tom Silberkleit, award-winning editor and publisher for Wine House Press, and nationally renowned photographer Robert Holmes were guests on KGO Radio’s Dining Around program with Gene Burns on Saturday, June 25, 2011.

With The California Directory of Fine Wineries as your guide, you’ll wander through world-famous Napa, home of the state’s most recognized cellar landmarks. You’ll meander scenic back roads on the way to Sonoma’s premier wineries. You’ll travel to rustic Mendocino, where the winemakers themselves will pour you a glass of their specialty. The fully updated, fifth edition is an essential guide to both glamorous estates and intimate, family-owned vineyards. A companion book in the “Fine Wineries” series celebrates California’s Central Coast wineries from Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles.

The Dining Around program, focusing on Food, Wine and Travel, is broadcast LIVE each Saturday, 10am-1pm on the Bay Area’s number one rated KGO-AM 810. The Gene Burns Talk program is broadcast five nights a week, 7-10pm. If you would like to listen, these programs are webcast in real time on www.kgo.com.

KGO Newstalk AM 810 has been the #1 rated radio station in the Bay Area for over 30 straight years and has a success rate that is unparalleled in the nation. KGO’s 50,000 watt broadcast signal reaches over 700,000 people each week.

KGO’s signal can be heard during the day in California as far north as Redding, east to Quincy, south to Fresno and back west to the coast and San Luis Obispo. During evening hours, the signal has been known to reach into Canada, as far east as Colorado and deep into Mexico.
